Attention homeowners. There is a fraudulent company www.garagedoorparts.com called "garage door parts, LLC" out of New Jersey. They are frausulent!! Do not do business with them!! They will take your order and payment and will never ship the product. Then they never answer the phone. They will also never respond to your emails. When you try to get your money back on paypal, his account will be empty. It is owned by a guy named ricardo aquino. They stole $250 from me.

I too have ordered something from this site, called a few days later to check on my order and no answer, called the next day and the phone number is no longer in service. Called my bank to stop payment. Luckily my account was not hit yet! I only called garagedoorparts to find out how long the order would take, I need the parts! First time this has happened to me...guess I'll call first now from now on.

I was also taken by this company. They probably figure if they take small enough amounts that they are too far away for anyone to prosecute. I am always careful to check first before ordering, but yes, I thought "who is going to advertise such an odd item and have it be a fraud". Guess what. They do. And I suspect they make a great deal of money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I never received anything, they do not answer phones, they will never email you. They are a complete fraud!!!!!!! luckily I did not commit to the $240 like the guy above, but I wish I had checked first and learned from his experience.
